We believe that all men are valuable in the sight of God and that no one individual is any more important than another. Nobody is to be valued on the basis of what they do in the Church. To this end we seek to understand each person as an individual whom God loves and has made a part of His family.
We believe that relationship is the glue that holds everything together. To this end we endeavour to devote more time to building and deepening sound interpersonal relationships than we do to the structures that facilitate growth and expansion.
We believe that God’s vision is a global vision and so is ours. To this end, we shall use every available tool to reach this world for Christ, until all the families of the world are blessed.
The Bible speaks clearly that people perish for a lack of knowledge. We work diligently to never allow that statement to have credence at The Votage Church. By equipping the youngest child to the oldest adult with biblical teaching, we strive to see the word of God disseminated, studied and learned by everyone.
Serving others is a kingdom principle, and service to Votage Church is vital
to the spiritual health of any member. Throughout His ministry, Jesus not only taught the value of serving, but He set the ultimate example. To become involved in the
leadership of Votage Church, you must first be willing to serve like Jesus.
We believe generosity changes everything. Generosity is one of our core values because we know that it is one of God’s core values. The deep love of God shown on the cross of Jesus is a generosity that cannot be repaid individually or collectively. When God’s love was distilled, He gave. Since God is our model, we value generosity as core.
We live our earthly lives from a perspective of eternity. Understanding that man has being a sinner from birth because Adam sinned and man’s good deeds and efforts cannot resolve the problem of sin except Christ. Therefore the gospel offers a better life now and for eternity.
Our God is the most excellent God! All that we do is wrapped around with an Unparalleled “Spirit of excellence”. We do not compromise on excellence.
We place great emphasis on the “business” of FERVENT PRAYERS in the healthy life of a believer. We consider fervent prayers as an integral aspect of cultivating a life of intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
